Jesus said that life is found in two things…love God and love people (see Matthew 22:37-40). We accomplish this by inviting everyone to be a part of two things:
- Attend the weekend services…designed to help you learn about Jesus and what it means to follow Him. We call this the "love God" part.
- Get connected with a neighborhood group…gatherings of people, who are in different places in their spiritual journey, who meet in neighborhoods. Together we try to live out what it means to follow Jesus. We do this in a variety of ways…serving the poor or those in need in our neighborhoods and community, getting involved in community events to make our community a better place, throwing fun neighborhood parties, randomly buying lunch for people we don’t even know, and studying the Bible. We call this the "love people" part.
Why church in a movie theater?
We want to meet somewhere in the community. A movie theater is not only a place people go to enjoy themselves, but also has an exciting feel, comfortable seats, large cup holders and allows us to serve popcorn!
